Web design project for Rye New York based Tremont in Westchester County
Tremont Capital Management is a global financial managment firm with offices in Rye New York, London and Hong Kong.
Business Edge began working on this project with Rye based Tremont in 2005, and we immediately recognized the challenges it presented.
Tremont manages hedge fund products and multi-manager portfolios, and prides themselves on providing their clients with quality risk-adjusted returns on a consistent basis over the long-term. This type of service, while vertainly valuable and profitable, was inately difficult to put a branded "face" on. So Business Edge's team began work on trying to do just that.
The project encompassed an entirely new look for their web site, and required a series of photographic elements to be chosen for this new "face" that would represent what they do for their clients.
Although Tremont's main office is in Rye New York, a pretty town in Westchester County NY, its reach is global and therefore the web site needed to present imagery to encompass this reach.
Tremont also wanted other imagery to be a part of their brand, and the most important word that kept coming up again and again was the word "trust." Since Tremont is a very personally-oriented company, images of people was desired. They also desire images that implied the element of time, because patience is one of the most important charactistics of financial planning.
